Grey’s Anatomy Ratings: How Many People Watched “Go It Alone”?

If you thought Grey’s Anatomy was losing steam after ten years on air, think again: last week’s episode, Season 10, Episode 20: “Go It Alone” claimed the number one rank in its timeslot.

According to Zap2it, over 8 million people tuned in to see Cristina (Sandra Oh) stave off her nerves before the big awards ceremony where she would find out if she won the Harper Avery or not. Unfortunately, Cristina didn’t take home the prize, much to our dismay, but she’s the real winner to us… although that doesn’t count where medical prestige is concerned, of course.

Grey’s might be bringing in less viewers than previous seasons, but 8 million viewers is nothing to balk at, especially where a show that’s run for so long is concerned. And considering the fact that it still wins out in its time slot over its competitors? So awesome for a show that turned ten this year — with two more seasons most likely in its future!

Plus, it’s a little comforting to know that so many other people are stressing over Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) and the fate of their marriage, right?

Another huge victory for showrunner Shonda Rhimes? Her other baby, the mind bogglingly popular Scandal, brought in the most viewers in the show’s history with last week’s season finale. Go, Shonda!

Are you surprised so many people are still watching Grey’s?
