Ravenswood Trailer: Watch Pretty Little Liars Spinoff’s First Teaser

Ravenswood is coming to the CW as soon as October 2013 — the Pretty Little Liars spinoff premieres right after PLL’s Halloween episode — and now ABC Family has just released the very first look at what to expect.

On August 11, the official Pretty Little Liars YouTube channel released the first promo for Ravenswood. It’s 16 seconds long. bit those 16 seconds are packed with creepy, eerie, bone-chilling teasers.

While the teaser trailer doesn’t give too much away, we do get our first good look at the town of Ravenswood, Pennsylvania, the dark and scary neighboring town of PLL’s Rosewood. From what we can tell, Ravenswood has a lot of graveyards, creepy architecture, and the entire town seems to have found a way to magically repel any sort of sunlight. Oh, and there are scary black crows everywhere — who appear to be dying for no reason.

Blink and you’ll miss it, but the trailer also features an appearance from PLL fan favorite Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn), who is leaving PLL to become a full-time character on Ravenswood. Yes, that probably means Caleb and his girlfriend, Hanna (Ashley Benson), are over. But can we not talk about that part? We’re not fully ready to deal with those emotions quite yet.

Will you be turning in to watch Ravenswood when it premieres, or are you not quite sure you’ll tune in yet? Because, honestly, we’re pretty sure we’d follow Tyler Blackburn to the ends of the earth. So if Ravenswood is where he’s headed, we’re there. No questions asked.
