Ravenswood hasn’t even premiered yet and we’re already excited for what’s to come in Episode 2 (“Death and the Maiden”).

The official synopsis, which was just released by ABC Family, says that Caleb is struggling with “the aftermath of what happened at the Ravenswood Homecoming Parade.” We’re assuming it has something to do with Homecoming Queen Olivia Matheson getting splattered with red paint during the Homecoming Parade, as we saw in the premiere promo.

We know Olivia and her twin brother Luke recently suffered a fall from grace after their mother was suspected of killing their father. After all, when your mother is now known as the “Black Widow,” it’s pretty much social suicide. But does something else happen at the Homecoming Parade that directly affects Caleb? It must, or why would he be "struggling" with the parade in the aftermath?

Meanwhile, Remy will dive into Ravenswood’s tragic past and draw troubling comparisons between “recent events and painful chapters” in the creepy town’s history. But that’s not the only drama Remy has to deal, as Luke starts to get jealous of how much time she’s spending with new kid in town, Caleb.

Here’s the official ABC Family synopsis for Episode 2: “Death and the Maiden”:

Caleb struggles in the aftermath of what happened at the Ravenswood Homecoming Parade in “Death and the Maiden” (airing Tuesday, October 29 at 8 p.m. ET). Remy begins to draw troubling parallels between recent events and painful chapters in Ravenswood history. Luke bristles at Caleb’s presence, especially around Remy. And Miranda can’t quite grasp her new reality.

Meanwhile, Luke tries to make Olivia face some hard truths about their parents. And Caleb comes face to face with the last person he ever expected to see.
