The October 22 premiere of Ravenswood turned out to be an early Halloween treat for ABC Family! Ravenswood launched as the highest series debut ever for the channel for women 18 to 34 with a reported audience of 789,000. Let that sink in for a moment because the good news keeps coming.
Got your head wrapped around what a huge victory that is for the new show? Not quite. That’s okay but brace yourself for even more complicated Ravenswood wins. The show also claimed the spot as cable TV’s biggest drama debut in almost three years and it got the most tweets of any new TV series premiere to date this season.
SocialGuide reports Ravenswood reached more than 3 million people and generated more than 16 million impressions. That’s a whole lot of social networking.
Add the amazing start to Ravenswood with the less surprising but no less great tune-in for Pretty Little Liars’s third annual Halloween special and what do you get? The network’s best Tuesday performance ever recorded for 8 to 10 p.m. in three key categories: adults ages 18 to 34; women ages 18 to 34; and women ages 18 to 49.
