After a brief hiatus for the holidays, Ravenswood is back in its new, post-Pretty Little Liars timeslot, and we're pleased to say it's as creepy as ever.

This supernatural drama hooked us with its first five episodes this fall — any show that's willing to off its main character and turn her into a ghost by Episode 2 is worth paying attention to in our books — but is the show still going strong after the break?

Happily, we thought this episode was pretty strong. It pulled us right back into the world of Ravenswood by providing some more answers — like who Thomas and Esther were and why they were willing to die in order to bring Original Caleb and Original Miranda back — while also upping the mystery and keeping the creepy coming.

We really enjoyed the flashback scenes, as well as everything involving Remy and her nightmares. Miranda's battle against Grunwald's mystery ghost friend was also intriguing, and we can't wait to find out more about what's going on there. There were also several great character moments, like Miranda and Olivia's adorably awkward convo about sex.

That said, we're still smarting from the Hanna/Caleb breakup, so we're not entirely happy with the continued focus on a potential Caleb and Miranda romance. And speaking of relationships, while we enjoy Remy and Luke together, we don't know how we feel about seeing them back in what appears to be happy relationship mode after all their struggles in the last few episodes.

We give it four stars. What about you?
