Earlier this week, we reported that there was an eviction notice on the front door of Kenya Moore’s Atlanta home, but the Real Housewives of Atlanta star was quick to deny that she’d actually been kicked to the curb, tweeting, ”Good morning #teamtwirl! Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see. #twirlonthat.”
And while our gal may have mastered the cryptic denial, court documents show that the former Miss U.S.A.’s landlord is requesting unpaid rent money from the reality star. Access Atlanta got ahold of the court documents filed by Conya Weems-Dillon (Kenya’s landlord) on May 24, and it appears that she’s requesting $848 in past due rent. Cora is also asking the court for “a $400 late fee, a $1,500 eviction fee, and $500 administrative fee plus ‘damages for alterations.’”
According to LexisNexis, Kenya has been renting the five bedroom home since January. Reports that Kenya hasn’t taken care of the home, however, appear to be untrue. An Access Atlanta reporter visited the residence and noted that it was well maintained, at least from the outside.
Do you think Kenya will really be forced to leave her home, or will she win this battle? Vote below!
