It's been years since Sheree Whitfield began building her home on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Chateau Sheree became a topic of controversy, with NeNe Leakes even dubbing the estate "Neverland," since she predicted that it would never be built.

Back in August, All About the Real Housewives reported that the property went into foreclosure before Sheree's future home was even fully built. But according to Sheree's lawyers, this couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, they told Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively that the rumors, which apparently originated on the site TamaraTattles, are "absolutely false."

The website claimed "a real estate agent source has revealed that Chateau Sheree is available for immediate short sale for $340k. Additionally, they divulged that there are two loans on the property and that the home will most likely be sold for something in the low to mid 300s," and Sheree's legal reps say that all of those facts are false and can be proven with a quick look at public records.

We know Sheree has been working hard to make Chateau Sheree into the extravagant palace she's always dreamed of. Unfortunately, she's having to deal with the flood of rumors surrounding her financial state and the status of her home.

Hang in there, girl! We got your back.
