Fans of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta were beside themselves when it was revealed in Season 2 of the hit VH1 show that rapper Lil Scrappy and his baby mama Erica Dixon were ending their engagement. While many hope for the couple to reunite once more (because there’s so much love behind all the fighting), we’ve come up with three reasons why we don’t see this couple getting back together anytime soon.

3. Momma Dee will not allow Lil Scrappy and Erica to be happy together

Ever since we were first introduced to Lil Scrappy’s mom, Momma Dee, we’ve known that this lady was not a fan of his baby mama Erica. Momma Dee has even publicly called into question the paternity of Erica and Scrappy’s child! We know, low blow. But if Season 1 didn’t show this lady’s distaste for Erica, then Season 2 definitely sealed the deal. And it looks like if ever Erica and Scrappy were to try and get their groove back, Momma Dee would be right there to tear them apart “and in that order.”

2. Lil Scrappy is a ladies man, and he can’t help it.

One of Erica’s major problems with Lil Scrappy is the fact that he’s a musician that may have line with the typical musician stereotype of being an unfaithful man. Because of his more-than-just-a-friend relationship with Shay “Buckeey” Johnson, Erica has found it unbelievably hard to trust the guy… and we can’t blame her.

1. Lil Scrappy and Erica have both moved on.

Since the Season 2 reunion show, Lil Scrappy and Erica have both moved on to greener pastures. As it is, Lil Scrappy is currently dating Basketball Wives LA star Adi “Bambi” Benson, while Erica has moved on to her deliciously handsome model boyfriend, O’Shea Russell. Whether they like it or not, Lil Scrappy and Erica will be bonded for life thanks to the daughter the couple share. And as long as these two love and co-parent their kid to the best of their abilities, we can totally live with the fact that they may not be an item… for now.

Do you think Lil Scrappy and Erica should give their relationship just one more try? Sound off below!
