Fans of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta watched the rollercoaster relationship between Stevie J. and Mimi Faust take a turn for the worse when Stevie J. admitted that he was sleeping with his artist, Joseline Hernandez. Scores of fans hoped that Stevie and Mimi would work things out, despite Joseline’s intervention since Stevie continually proclaims his love for Mimi, and Mimi admits that she will always love Stevie. However, we have three reasons why these two will never reconnect.

1. Joseline is not letting Stevie out of her sights.

In spite of everything that has been said about Joseline, one thing is definitely sure: she is not going anywhere. The Boricua rapper from Miami has made it absolutely clear that she’s up to the challenge of changing “Stebbie” into in a one-woman man, and she calls what she has with the producer “a forever thing.”

2. Mimi is tired of the games.

By now, Mimi appears to be tired of the many games that Stevie J. is notorious for. And quite honestly, a woman of her age (43 years, to be exact) should not have to deal with a lot of the antics (lying, cheating, etc.) that Stevie can’t seem to give up. At the LHHATL reunion it was pretty clear that Mimi had enough of Stevie, and would only remain close to him for the sake of their 3-year-old daughter, Eva.

3. Mimi and Stevie J. have both moved on.

Stevie says that he will always have love for Mimi, but let’s face it — he’s married to Joseline who is determined to make him the man that she needs him to be (ie. faithful). And in Season 2 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, we watched as Mimi started dating Nikko, an aspiring rap artist. While many thought that the relationship was over by the time the reunion aired, Nikko made a special appearance to reveal that he and Mimi were still going strong. And from the looks of Mimi’s photos on Instagram, Nikko isn’t leaving her side anytime soon which means that reuniting with Stevie is not in Mimi's immediate future.
