When host Billy Bush asks if Kanye — who's now engaged to Kim — tried to hit on her, Kenya replies, "He was really sweet when I met him. He seemed very humble. I thought he was a great guy."
"We met in Beverly Hills," she explains. "He walked over, he was very humble. He spoke to me. He was super nice."
Sadly for Kanye's sake, Kenya was attached at the time. "Of course, we didn’t date, because I was with someone," Kenya points out. "He was a very charming guy, I can say that. I was very charmed."
When Billy asks, "Did he give you elevator eyes?" Kenya replies pointedly, "Well, he’s a guy, he appreciates women." So we're taking that as a yes.
As for Kanye's chosen pick-up line, it sounds like he was trying to entice Kenya by showing off his art. "It was just friendly, ‘Hey, I want you to hear some music.’ It was all above board," she says. “I’m very happy that he’s found love and that him and Kim are having a good relationship.”
It's crazy to think that these two almost got together, right? And we must say we'd kinda wish they had dated, if only because they're too first names are so similar.
Do you think Kenya should have dated Kanye, or did she make the right call because it allowed him to find Kim?
