Did Kenya Moore really tell Apollo Nida that she wanted to hook up with him? Kenya Moore says she didn't, and she's revealing some of their text convos in order to set the record straight.
On Real Housewives of Atlanta this week, Apollo — who is married to Phaedra Parks — said that Kenya "wanted to have sex in L.A." Not so, says Kenya.
She tells TMZ that she wants "to put an end to these false and defaming speculations and judgments against me." That's why she is going public with their texts, which she says were never sexual.
In the texts from fall 2012, Apollo first asks Kenya how she's doing, which startles Kenya. "I'm surprised you're reaching out to me — I thought you hated me," she texts back.
"Nope, just a moment thing, ya dig," he texts. "I don't hate you at all. I'm too blessed to hate or dislike you."
When Apollo writes Kenya to say that he's working on a solo project, she congratulates him. "I've always been straight with you, so just know I truly wish you well," Kenya writes.
Apollo then asks how long she's going to be in L.A., since he says he'll be there soon. "I was going to talk to you about some stuff — I'm in Philly now," Apollo writes.
And that's pretty much as racy as these texts get. Then again, you never know if Kenya isn't publicizing all of the texts.
Do you believe Kenya that their texts never got sexual?
