Porsha Stewart, Cynthia Bailey, and Phaedra Parks all stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show earlier this month and chatted about the current drama playing out on Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. After yet another discussion about the inappropriate texts that Kenya Moore reportedly sent to Phaedra’s husband, Apollo Nida, Arsenio asked the gals if anything was off-limits to discuss on the show.

All three women had similar answers. “Some of us respect boundaries, while others don’t,” Phaedra quipped all while wearing her sweet Southern smile. But it’s clear that the only subject that is truly not to be discussed is family. “Children are straight up off-limits,” Cynthia declared. “Do not come for our kids in any way.”

Porsha and Phaedra nodded in agreement before Porsha chimed in, “For me, it’s parents, because our mothers are a part of the show. You can come for me all you want, but as soon as you say something about my mother who is there to protect me and who cares about me, it just takes it to another level for me.”

Per Porsha’s point, mothers have a had a big role on this season of RHoA so far, particularly Kandi Burruss's mother, Joyce. Mama Joyce has made her disapproval of Kandi’s fiancé, Todd Tucker, very clear — even saying that Kandi “stepped down” for him — and she’s gotten plenty of heat from fans for her harsh behavior.

Kandi knows that Mama Joyce has been out of line at times, but that hardly means she’ll allow other people to bash her mom. In fact, the RHoA star broke down in tears on Watch What Happens Live last Sunday night when it was suggested that Mama Joyce was only looking out for her daughter’s money so she could ensure that the well doesn’t dry up, so to speak. “I don’t care what y’all have to say, that’s my mama,” Kandi said through tears. “She can have whatever she wants, because that’s my mama.”
