We all know that Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has been doing a bang-up job playing Coach Roz on Glee. But based on your votes, you also want to see RHOA star Kandi Burruss on the show — and you have a very specific role in mind for her to play!
Last month, we asked you to choose which other Real Housewives star besides NeNe you'd like to appear on Glee, and the results were overwhelming: Kandi received over 80% of the vote, with the next-highest vote-getter being former RHOA star Kim Zolciak at a mere 7% of the vote. Go, Kandi!
Then, we asked you to tell us which role Kandi should play. Again, there was a clear favorite, as 37% of you think Kandi would be best suited to play a songwriting professor at NYADA, the elite NYC arts school where Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) are currently students.
Your runner-up choice for Kandi is to play a rival choir coach competing against McKinley, which 24% of you voted for. This role would find her sharing scenes with the likes of Blaine (Darren Criss) and Sam (Chord Overstreet). Rapper Eve had a similar role back in Glee Season 1, when she played a rival choir coach named Grace Hitchens.
You're less excited about the idea of Kandi playing a rival cheerleading coach or an NYC record exec. Those choice got 17% and 16% of votes, respectively. The least popular suggestion was that of Kandi the couple's counselor. That choice got only 4% of votes.
We're actually not surprised that you want to see Kandi play a songwriting teacher, given that Kandi herself is a top-notch tunesmith who has penned such hits as “No Scrubs” and “Bills, Bills, Bills,” both of which Glee has already performed. Speaking of which, there are still five songs of Kandi's that we want Glee to perform.
Do you agree that Kandi would make a good screenwriting professor? Or would you rather see her playing a different part?
