We didn’t have the pleasure of a new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta this past Sunday because the world was busy watching the Denver Broncos get crushed by the Seattle Seahawks, but as you may remember, the last episode of RHoA we saw ended with Kenya Moore’s assistant, Brandon DeShazer, getting his ass kicked by Apollo Nida.

Phaedra Parks’ hubby punched and kicked Brandon after the Housewives friend tried to defend Kenya from Christopher Williams, and even though we still aren’t clear what his motives were, the experience was frightening and scarring to say the least.

As Brandon says in a sneak peek for next week’s all new episode, the altercation left him with a cracked rib, but the emotional damage sounds like it might have been far greater. One of Kenya’s Twitter followers asked for an update on how Brandon was doing, and the former Miss USA was very honest about how the fight affected him. She replied, “Yes and he is ok now. Definitely was traumatizing for him.”

Shortly after the fight aired last week, another follower asked Kenya if Brandon planned to press charges because of what Apollo did. She revealed that she had nothing to do with that decision after the follower said she should encourage her pal to take legal action. Brandon hasn’t spoken about any ramifications for Apollo (who is already in trouble with the law) but he did than his fans for all of their love and support following the quarrel.
