We still can't believe that Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss ended up having a major confrontation on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They are the two women on the show least likely  to have drama with anyone — let alone each other. But emotions were running high during NeNe Leakes' Pillow Talk party and, before we knew it, Kandi and Cynthia were going at it.

The real beef, however, was between Kandi and Cynthia's sister, Malorie, who was seen pushing Kandi during the confusing meleé.

As the episode aired, Malorie took to Twitter to defend herself, writing, “Not my character to EVER throw the first punch. I was pushed first. I HONESTLY was trying to break up fights that night.”

Unfortunately for Mal, the cameras caught the real story, clearly showing that Malorie did push Kandi. Cynthia didn't think it possible during the episode, but once she was able to see the footage for herself, she used her Bravo blog to admit that she was wrong and to send Kandi an apology.

"I definitely didn't know until I saw it on tape that Mal pushed Kandi,” Cynthia writes. “I actually didn't believe it until I saw the tape, because I just don't remember it happening. I thought Mal was trying to keep Peter and Todd from getting into it by pushing them apart."

Cynthia went on to add, "I apologize and accept full responsibility for any part of wrongdoing that I contributed to on that night. I apologize on behalf of Peter and my sister, as well. I hope that Kandi and I are big enough women to eventually move past this foolishness."

Are you surprised to see Cynthia own up to her mistake? Sound off below!
