There are many reasons why we can’t wait for February to be over — the terrible weather, the TV hiatus — but yet another reason to look forward to March is Bravo’s first ever Real Housewives Awards on March 23. The cable network announced the celebration of all things Housewives last week, and we can’t wait to get involved with some voting!

One important category is “Rookie of the Year,” which features nominees from a number of cities who made a big splash on their recent first seasons. But the real toughie is with our fav Atlanta gals, as we’ve got not one, but two rookies in the running: Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart!

Both women joined the cast in it’s fifth season last year, adding two different dynamics to an already mixed crowd. Former Miss USA Kenya twirled her way into our hearts with her ability to make an entrance (and exit), and her outspoken tendencies. Meanwhile, Porsha showed us a real character arc as she went from obedient housewife to independent, grown woman. You go girl!

But there can only be one Rookie of the Year, and the ladies are facing some tough competition in the form of New York’s Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill, and Heather Thomson; Beverly Hills’ Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud; and Orange County’s Lydia McLaughlin. Good luck ladies!

Who do you think should win: Porsha or Kenya? Tell us in the comments below.
