If you thought the drama between Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks was a thing of the past, you may want to think again. On tonight’s March 16 episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, aptly named "Flirting With Disaster," Kenya and Phaedra's hubby, Apollo Nida, finally spoke face to face after the sexting scandal of Season 5, and things got pretty heated — in more ways than one.
The former Miss USA started things off casually, with a little nice small talk and proving she can hang with the boys by puffing on a cigar. But after that, she sort of laid it all out on the table.
“From the beginning when I met you, I was like the biggest Apollo fan. And I think you know that,” Kenya begins. “I felt like, okay, I kind of get Apollo. It seemed as though, when Phaedra and I fell out, you and I were still cool and then I felt like you were trying to attack me, or make me look bad.”
“I feel the same way,” Apollo says, before Kenya interrupts him to say, “I never said anything negative against you.”
And it’s not just that she wants an apology… she wants him to explain himself. “Where is all this coming from? Because we both know that the stuff that you’re throwing out there, that that didn’t happen,” she points out, referring to the implication that she tried to hook up with him.
“I hear stuff,” Kenya continues. “You can’t do me dirty like that.”
In a bold move, Apollo goes straight to the point. “You heard that I could have slept with you if i wanted to.”
“You felt like you could have?” Kenya says, baffled.
“Damn right, I could have,” he fires back, before adding, “There’s a lot of people who would jump out there and do what they got to do because you’re a nice looking woman… You are an attractive woman and any man could fall victim to that.”
Somehow we get the feeling that this is not the kind of behavior that Phaedra wants to see or hear, especially since she had reservations about the trip from the get-go due to the fact that she wasn't comfortable with Kenya around her man. She even considered taking Dwight as her plus-one instead of Apollo.
