We’ve got to give it to her, for a first-time recording artist, Porsha Williams really knows how to promote a single. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is prepping to drop her debut tune, “Flatline” on March 17, and in anticipation of the big release, she has been sharing lots of teases for the song — most recently with the album artwork. But at long last, we’re finally getting a snippet of the previously unheard jam!

On Tuesday night, March 11, Porsha took to Instagram to share a quick clip of the forthcoming single’s video, which displays the pretty reality star in various states of anguish, while rolling around in her lingerie (maybe from her new line?).

“Promo Teaser for my New single ‘FLATLINE’ Available on iTunes March 17th #Truthwillbetold #flatline,” she captions the video.

Putting aside the video — which we’ll wait to judge until it’s officially released — both the song and Porsha’s vocals sound pretty good, on the whole. There seems to be a lot of layering, perhaps with backup singer, but overall she has a natural R&B tone that will probably do well on the charts. Way to go, girl!

The recently-divorced lady still has a ways until she catches up with her co-star Kandi Burruss’s music career, but something tells us that she’ll be surpassing the rest of her Housewife predecessors pretty quickly. There’s more potential here than in the odd one-hit-wonders like “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” or “Money Can’t Buy You Class” — though we do love them so.

What do you think of Porsha’s new tune? Do you think she’ll be successful? Tell us in the comments below.
