Today was the day for reality starlets to drop a pop single — Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham introduced her newest foray into music, “Blowin’,” and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams showed off her in-studio vocals with “Flatline.” Though we love us some Farrah, we’re all about Porsha’s surprisingly smooth R&B sound, and we were wondering if she partially owed that to co-star Kandi Burruss.

Well, Kandi answered our question directly on Twitter today after a fan asked, “Did you help Porsha with her single?"

“No I didn’t do that 1,” Kandi explains, adding, “I wrote a song for her on #AMothersLove soundtrack.”

Aww man! We were sort of hoping Kandi was involved in this one as it’s well on its way to being a hit. In fact, it’s already No. 3 on the iTunes R&B charts, and it hasn’t even been 24 hours! After the way Kandi was reportedly shut out of Kim Zolciak’s earnings with “Don’t Be Tardy,” the girl deserves some compensation. But something tells us she’ll be fine without the help of a Housewife single.

Despite that, we’re still looking forward to hearing Porsha’s song on the A Mother’s Love soundtrack. Ms. Burruss has been hard at work in the studio, putting the finishing touches on the ensemble album, and it’s sure to pay off!

Are you surprised Kandi didn’t contribute to Porsha’s single? Do you have high hopes for Kandi’s soundtrack, as well? Tell us in the comments below.
