Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for: Porsha Williams’s long-awaited first single, “Flatline,” has officially arrived and we’re totally loving it! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star joins the ranks of many a Housewife before her with her musical outing, but she might be one of the first to actually have a set of pipes on her —  Kandi Burruss notwithstanding, she started as a singer, after all.

Porsha has teased the tune for months now, and it seems to be living up to its hype. The track — also available on Amazon and Spotify — is already climbing the iTunes charts, currently ranking in at #5 on the R&B list. Beyond the obvious success in sales thus far, Porsha’s also getting lots of love from fans on social media, who have been blowing her Twitter up all morning with rave reviews.

Okay, let’s get down to brass tacks. What does it sound like? This might be the first viable R&B tune to be released by someone from a Bravo show. We can actually hear someone like Keyshia Cole or Tamar Braxton recording this song, but Porsha is the lucky gal to bring it to life! The sultry midtempo feel is also right on point with the sexy and single vibe she’s been trying to portray thus far with the album artwork and video. Get it girl!

As we already know, this is just the first of five tracks to come from Miss Williams, but this is the particular track she’s focused on since she learned of her shocking split on Twitter.

“I've been working on this song throughout the whole divorce and the whole season [of RHoA], mapping out my emotions and putting in things that I've gone through,” she said a while back, adding, “It's emotional and it's me really being vulnerable and just saying the things that a lot of people feel when you have a heartache and break up with someone.”

We see big things to come from Porsha!
