There was some drama — as there always is — when Porsha Williams Stewart joined Kandi Burruss’s play, A Mother’s Love, but it all turned out well and the Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars are just a week away from the April 8 release of the soundtrack and DVD.
Kandi recently shared an Instagram video featuring a clip of Porsha singing a snippet of “Watch Over Me” from the soundtrack (watch it below).
“When I 1st casted @porsha4real in #AMothersLove things started off a little shaky but things quickly turned around & Porsha did a great job!” Kandi posted with the video, adding that she wrote this particular song specifically for Porsha and her character in the musical.
She directed fans to KandiOnline.com to order the DVD and soundtrack. On the site, you can watch the official trailer or A Mother's Love, pre-order the CD and DVD combo for $20 or get a DVD, CD and T-shirt for $30. Items are scheduled to be released April 8.
Just recently on RHoA, we saw Kandi admit she was worried that Porsha might not be committing enough time to the play. “It makes me nervous that Porsha’s not here, because with us having to learn so much choreography and all of these songs, if you miss one day, you’ve missed a ton,” says Kandi. “I understand that Porsha is working on getting everything cleared up with her contract, but for her to not show up and then continue to ask for additional days up, I’m starting to question whether I should even have her [as] part of this production.” Well, that’s all water under the bridge now!
