It's not the Real Husbands of Atlanta, so where's the line on when the men should speak up?
NeNe Leakes told Peter Thomas to stay out of "women's business" and stop trying to be a "damn bitch." There was a lot of focus on her use of the b-word, but Apollo Nida went back to the issue of the husbands being told to stay out of their wives' affairs.
“We are the women’s business. It’s not being in the business. We are their business,” Apollo told Sister 2 Sister. “The show is called ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ so typically it’s housewives of Atlanta. The men are just as much as involved in the relationship — in that network — as they are. At the end of the day, if you don’t want a man’s opinion, don’t have the man around.”
Apollo may want to be careful with that one, considering all the Kenya Moore, pinata condoms, and "all people cheat" stuff he's been adding to Phaedra Parks's business. Phaedra might be ready to run with the idea of ditching the man and his opinion in one shot.
But Apollo defended Peter, saying he wasn't speaking out of turn, he was just disappointed with NeNe's speech at the Saving Our Daughters charity event. “Peter used his emotion and he was passionate when talking to her. It wasn’t disrespect I thought by no means," Apollo said. "He was hurt, and he was saying, ‘You have a brand and there’s many people that are like me that look up to you, but they’re not going to tell you. They’re not going to confront you, but I’m going to confront you.’ It’s not a good look.”
Where do you stand on this? Do you agree with Peter, NeNe, or Apollo — or all of them, on different points?
