It’s been one helluva sixth season on Real Housewives of Atlanta, and we never want it to end! Unfortunately, nothing good can last forever, and the season finale airs tonight, April 13. But don’t fret just yet — we still have a two-part reunion to look forward to over the next couple of weeks!
This year, the Atlanta gals brought in Bravo’s biggest ratings yet, and for good reason. The drama was only heightened by the involvement of the Househusbands, which Cynthia Bailey’s hubby Peter Thomas maintains was the winning formula. Add in a revolving door of feuds — NeNe Leakes vs. Kenya Moore, NeNe vs. Marlo Hampton, NeNe (and hubby Gregg Leakes) vs. Peter Thomas… anyone sensing a trend here? — and you’re never left yearning for new storylines.
As the season comes to a close, we’re turning to a more serious note, focusing on NeNe’s health troubles, and Kenya losing her precious pup Velvet. But there’s also a bright spot in the debut of Kandi Burruss’s long-awaited musical A Mother’s Love. And lord knows show co-star Porsha Williams’s backstage antics will be comic relief a-plenty.
Check out the BravoTV synopsis here:
“It's just days before the debut of Kandi's musical, and ticket sales are far from booming. NeNe returns from her travels experiencing unusual pains, causing her to seek medical attention. As Phaedra nears the end of her mortuary science journey, Apollo reveals his concern for their marriage.”
Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Season 6 finale airs April 13 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
