The Real Housewives of Atlanta are certainly no strangers to drama, but it looks like their husbands can bring it, too!
Todd Tucker has had his fair share of ups and downs on the show — most notably a feud with Mama Joyce in which she accused her daughter’s hubby-in-training of having an affair with Kandi’s best friend, Carmon Cambrice — and now he’s finally speaking out on the drama that has plagued him throughout his relationship with Kandi.
In an interview with BravoTV, Todd opened up about the situation with Carmon, explaining that Carmon’s closeness with Kandi made it difficult to accept her job as her friend’s employee.
“She has a problem separating the business and the personal when it comes to her job,” says Todd. “That's why I think it's not a good idea to hire friends or family to work directly for you.”
While tensions finally led to Carmon quitting her job working on Kandi's wedding, Todd says that he thinks it’s for the best.
“Carmon overreacted, but that's what happens when you can't separate the business and the personal,” he explains, adding that Carmon is still very much Kandi's assistant and bestie.
“Carmon is not going anywhere,” says Todd. “She always quits and comes back the following Monday like nothing happened.”
Do you think Carmon made the right decision by quitting?
