The third season of Bethenny Frankel’s show, Bethenny Ever After, premieres tonight, February 20 at 9 p.m. on Bravo, and even though Bethenny is psyched about Season 3, she’s recently had two health scares that have really put things in perspective.

Bethenny stopped by The Today Show on Monday morning and revealed that she created an ulcer in her esophagus after taking a pill without a full glass of water and then lying down. It took about two weeks to heal, but Bethenny’s esophagus is now on the mend.

However, when Bethenny was asked if she and husband Jason Hoppy were trying for baby No. 2, she revealed, “It’s a very personal question that I do get asked a lot. We were pregnant with a second baby, and at 8 weeks, I miscarried. That was a very emotional experience and it had a lot of different things that came with it.”

Bethenny’s recent tragedy has allowed her to see just how lucky she is to have her family. She continues, “I do have any incredible daughter, I feel like she’s perfect. I honestly, truthfully have thought about other women more than myself. In many cases I don’t do that, but in this particular case the first thing I thought about was, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe what people must go through if they can’t even have the one.’”

We’re sorry that Bethenny suffered a miscarriage, but glad that she realizes how lucky she is to have Bryn.

Season 3 of Bethenny Ever After premieres tonight on Bravo at 9 p.m. ET. Be sure to tune in!
