After insisting that he wouldn’t file for divorce from his estranged wife Evelyn Lozada, disgraced footballer Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has finally relented and given Ev exactly what she wants; a divorce.

Evelyn initially filed for divorce on Aug. 14 following an alleged domestic violence incident earlier that month where Chad reportedly headbutted her during an argument. He has since pleaded not guilty.

According to TMZ, Chad has admitted that the couple’s marriage is “irrevocably broken.” He also wants the couple’s prenuptial agreement to be enforced (they were married on July 4, 2012) but that could actually be bad news for Evelyn.

The prenup reportedly states that in the event of a divorce both parties will pay for their own legal counsel, but Evelyn has asked the judge to force Chad to pony up and pay for her legal fees.

While the divorce still needs to finalized, Evelyn is reportedly “ecstatic” that she can now move on.

No word on what Chad will do about that tattoo ...

Given the circumstances surrounding their split, do you think that Chad should pay Evelyn’s legal fees?
