Court Documents Explain Phaedra Parks’s $30 Million Lawsuit: Who Is She So Angry At?
If there’s one thing we know for certain, it's never mess with a lawyer.
Earlier this year VIBE financially backed the book, Lies of a Housewife by Angela Stanton, which alleged that Phaedra Parks broke the law on a regular basis and was involved in numerous illegal activities.
Late last month, Phaedra filed a $30 million lawsuit against VIBE, claiming that they “knowingly and purposely avoided and ignored evidence establishing the falsity of the articles, interviews, and the book prior to publishing them.”
Straight From the A obtained the court documents Phaedra filed, in which she maintains that, among other things, she was never very friendly with Angela, and the two never participated in any criminal activities together.
Phaedra is seeking more than $5 million in compensatory damages, plus an additional $25 million in punitive damages. She is also requesting that VIBE print a retraction of the articles and book.
Will Phaedra win in court? Sound off below!
