Cynthia Bailey’s Miss Renaissance pageant got off to a rough start on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and even though it finished strong, many people thought Cyn rigged the pageant by giving the crown to the young lady that Kenya Moore brought to The Bailey Agency earlier in the episode.
As can be expected, Cynthia took these accusations very seriously, turning to her BravoTV.com blog to clear things up. “FYI: There seems to be some confusion about the young lady that Kenya brought by The Bailey Agency to meet me. I received some tweets that implied that she won Miss Renaissance, and that I rigged the pageant for her to win for Kenya,” she wrote.
Cynthia defended herself on three points, explaining, “A. I would never do anything that unethical.
B. I had no involvement in the judging process. C. The young lady did not end up participating in Miss Renaissance 2012, therefore it was not possible for her to win.”
You tell ‘em, Cyn!
