New York can be a cutthroat town, especially to newcomers. If you don't move fast enough, you might find yourself getting run over!
Such might be the case with the new season of Real Housewives of New York. HuffPost Celebrity reports that the returning cast members — Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer — have gone on strike and it's all because of their new counterparts.
The squabble centered on shooting for Fashion Week last month, with the three originals "complaining that production was dragging on" due to the new cast members (reportedly Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, and Aviva Drescher) being slow at filming.
The three returning women initially refused to shoot anything at Fashion Week (though they did attend several shows), but ultimately "did return to tape a final few scenes," tattles one of the original cast members. (That could be Luann, Sonja, Ramona, or one of the departed RHONY housewives).
Bravo would not comment to HuffPost about any upcoming storylines, but a network insider notes that "the ladies that didn't make themselves available to shoot only hurt themselves.
"If Ramona thinks she is going to win by messing with the new ladies, she can think again," the insider snarks. "These girls are killers."
