Kim Zolciak surprised her co-stars from The Real Housewives of Atlanta when she backed out on the cast trip for the second season in a row, but the protective mama — who was about eight months pregnant at the time — stands by her decision to stay in the ATL.
In one her final BravoTV.com blogs, Kim explains the situation from her perspective. “Going to Anguilla would have been the trip of a lifetime, but under DOCTOR’S ORDERS I was unable to travel,” she says. “Traveling 32 weeks pregnant is such a scary risk and for the women to think that I was willing to take that risk FOR THEM is absurd, especially since I don't consider them my friends.”
Oh c’mon, Kimmie, y’all may be going through a rough patch now, but surely you can still remember some of the fun times you’ve had over the years!
Still, Kim was understandably concerned with her in-utero Biermann, making the bun in her oven a top priority. She explains, “My health is more important than arguing and bickering with people … You know there are going to be fights on that trip. I made no mistakes by staying home.”
And now that Kim has her own spin-off, she certainly isn’t looking back. But do you think she made the right decision not to go to Anguilla? Vote below!
