Bethenny Ever After has been significantly more dramatic than the former Real Housewife of New York's previous spin-off, Bethenny Getting Married. But, then again, aren't weddings (even ones where the bride is six months pregnant) always more glamorous than year two of marriage, complete with therapy and poopy diapers?
We happen to think Bethenny Frankel pulls it off with charm, but she recently admitted on her Bravo blog that relationships haven't always been her forte, which is perhaps why she and husband Jason Hoppy are encountering so much drama.
"I know you have all been worried about my relationship," she posted, "and the show got off to an emotional rocky start, but isn't life like that? Sometimes we cringe, sometimes we get anxiety, but ultimately, we buckle up, hold on, and get to the next place."
Matters were only made worse when her estranged mother sold a story to Star Magazine ripping apart Bethenny's relationship and parenting skills.
Yet, B assured, "I love my husband and my family. Relationships may not have always been my strong point, but I am dedicated to my marriage, to being a better person everyday, and to being open and honest in the hopes of helping myself — and hopefully many of you."
Sorry, what was that about helping us? We were too busy chowing down on a SkinnyGirl chocolate-covered granola bar. (Which, by the way, is basically is just a candy bar. A delicious, questionably guilt-free candy bar.)
If marital stress causes Bethenny to go into Business Mode and crank out more flavors of these bad boys, we can only be supportive.
