Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta shocked fans when she announced that she was filing a lawsuit against her former castmate, Kim Zolciak, over the royalty rights to their song collaboration "Tardy For the Party."
Even more surprising, Kandi revealed that she had hired her friend and fellow RHOA, Phaedra Parks, to be her lawyer. Over the years, Phaedra has been criticized for being a one-hit-wonder in the world of law after representing rapper Bobby Brown, but Kandi assures us that Phaedra is the real thing when it comes to her profession.
In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Kandi stood up for her attorney, letting the world know exactly what kind of lawyer Phaedra is.
"Regardless of what anyone says, she is on top of her business when it comes to her field in law," Kandi stated.
Although Kandi doesn't deny that Phaedra is over-the-top and tons of fun, she makes it clear that the silliness does not carry over into her work. "When it comes to business, she's on point, she gets back with you ... I just love her work ethic," Kandi promised.
She even went as far as recommending Phaedra to anyone who is in need of a lawyer. We'll keep that in mind!
Also, we'll see Phaedra in action when her own spin-off, Rich People's Problems, premieres, where she will be mediating the petty quarrels of Atlanta's elite society. So, we'll get to judge for ourselves!
Would you want Phaedra to represent you?
