Just two years ago, Kandi's ex-fiance, AJ Jewell, was killed during a fight outside an Atlanta club he owned, and now, tragedy has struck the Jewell family once again. AJ's 15-year-old daughter, Asheley, was shot Saturday night in a seemingly random attack. She was driving around Atlanta with some friends, when someone in another car opened fire on her vehicle. Asheley was shot in the back of the head, and is currently in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital. Investigators are citing road rage as a possible motive for the senseless shooting.

Jewell's twin sisters, mother, and aunt are keeping vigil over her at the hospital, but Kandi Burruss took some heat from her Twitter followers, one blogger in particular, for not commenting on the tragedy. She later spoke out, tweeting, "If u really must know I was at the Mc Donald's at the hospital with the twins being there for them. I just didn't wanna tweet all that!"

Kandi added, "I purposely have not been tweeting about the shootin tryin to respect the privacy of the girls," and called out the blogger, tweeting, "For the record anything I have ever done for the girls I've done out of love! Not publicity & I'm sick of @sandrarose saying otherwise."

Most fans, however, and among them, Andy Cohen, have tweeted Kandi prayers and well-wishes during her rough time. We hope Kandi finds some respectful distance from the limelight for a little while.
