Kandi’s musical talents allow her to fit right into the drum circle.
After the February 19 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss came under fire for a variety of blunt remarks she made about her fellow housewives.
In her latest blog post for BravoTV.com, Kandi defends her controversial opinions.
Kandi writes, “I say how I feel regardless of whether you like it or not. The same thing I say when you’re not around is the same thing I’ll say when you’re standing right there, unlike some of the other people in our circle.”
First, Kandi tackles the comments she made about Marlo Hampton and her obsession with designer clothes. Kandi explains, “I just don’t like being around people who constantly boast and brag about what they have. It comes off as shallow and materialistic.”
Honestly, we’re totally with Kandi on this one, it’s tacky to excessively brag about your possessions, especially when they’re coming from an unnamed sugar daddy.
In addition, Kandi had plenty to say about NeNe Leakes’s involvement in her disagreement with Marlo.
She writes, “I hate when NeNe says that I’m mad just because I let it be known that I don’t like Marlo’s bragging. Now when I remind NeNe that she has made similar statements about Kim, she says it’s because Kim is materialistic and superficial but Marlo doesn’t seem that way. Huh?!”
Again, Kandi does have a point. It’s hypocritical of NeNe to play both sides like that. If she doesn’t like it when Kim Zolciak brags about her designers, then the same should apply to Marlo as well.
Kandi also had some choice words to say about Cynthia Bailey, and her reluctance to speak up at the dinner despite being so talkative earlier in the day.
“Cynthia on the other hand does hang out with Marlo from time to time, because of NeNe I suppose. It threw me for a loop when she was so open on the safari about her thoughts of Marlo when it was just us Smalls listening, but she TOTALLY changed her tune when NeNe met up with us," Kandi says.
"If she has ever wondered why people have said she follows NeNe and doesn’t have her own mind, then maybe she gets it now.”
Meow!
Stay tuned for Kandi’s thoughts on the whole black baby fiasco.
