Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta caused a bit of a stir when she decided to release a gospel song, starting a debate whether it was right for a woman who owns a sex-toy line to be singing about praising the Lord.
Apparently, controversy is a good thing because the tune in question, Stay Prayed Up, has snagged the No. 1 spot on the gospel music chart on iTunes! Kandi took to Twitter to show her appreciation: "My song with @MarvinSapp "Stay Prayed Up" is #1 on #itunes gospel music! Thanks everyone for the love & support!," she gushed.
