Kandi Burruss’s spin-off, The Kandi Factory, was given a trial run last year, but the show’s winning contestant — Matthew Solomon — has had little success. He was promised an original song based on his personal life written by Kandi herself, and a music video produced by her accomplished team, but he’s now saying that he is unsatisfied with the assistance he got from Kandi — and Kim Zolciak is loving every bit of it!
To be fair, Matthew did record his song, “Take That,” and film a music video for it, but apparently his interaction with Kandi and her team ended there. On March 19 he tweeted, “@BillyCharlesNY @kimzolciak WOW @kandi I got you a new season and u lied about what u promised. using Kim for press for #kandifactory @tmz."
Of course, Kim added her two cents, writing, “Truth Always surfaces.”
And on March 18, Matthew responded to a frustrated fan who couldn’t find his song, tweeting, “@donjuannc 'was my prize' Haven't heard from @kandi since the show. Sorry you can't download my song on iTunes."
Yikes! Do you think Kandi really left her protégé high and dry like that, or is there more to the story? Vote below!
