Several months ago, Kenya Moore’s Atlanta ex-beau, Walter Jackson, revealed that Kenya asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend on the show. Kenya quickly denied the accusations on Twitter and later went to her BravoTV.com blog to share a more in-depth look at her side of the story.
Kenya explained, “I moved to Atlanta around February, for one, hoping to rekindle the relationship I had with Walter. He was still single, said he wanted to have more children, said he could see me as his wife and wanted the same things I did. I moved forward hoping that I could have everything with him.”
Kenya went on to reveal that her relationship with Walter only got stronger when she was offered a spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“When the RHoA came along in April, he couldn’t have been happier for me and said he didn’t mind our relationship being followed on TV,” she wrote. “He intimated to me that he wanted to be married to me and that it would happen soon.”
And while Kenya’s constant marriage chatter on RHoA may seem embarrassing now that the couple is definitely over, she maintains that there was a reason for it at the time. “I’m always talking about it on the show because he made it seem imminent. It was an exciting time for me,” she concluded.
If that’s all true, then we actually feel badly for Kenya now. Do you believe her version of events?
