Kim Zolciak may be one of the most outspoken housewives, but the new mom of three insists she’s even happier this season now that she isn’t at the center of the draining drama.

She tells People Magazine, “I used to cover my eyes sometimes [during my Housewives scenes]. I'd be like, 'Oh, god.' And now, this season ... it's been incredible ... I wasn't involved with the drama.”

Instead, Kim was busy taking care of a newborn and nurturing her relationship with her now-husband, Kroy Biermann. She continues, “Watching this season, I feel like you can just see how happy I am on my face — I don't even have to say anything. I'm grateful to have all this captured on camera.”

Even though Kim was usually at the forefront of all the drama, it sounds like she much prefers her family-centric storyline this season.

“I absolutely have no regrets, but this season is a lot easier for me to watch. Last year I was caught up in drama and trying to do that bus tour. And it's hard to watch. You live it, and then six months later, you watch it on TV. So this season, there aren't any moments where I'm in a position where I'm going to cover my eyes.”

As for her recent drama-less attitude change, Kim has little KJ to thank. “Having a new baby changes you,” she explains.

If you’re like us and you just can’t get enough of Kim’s adorable, expanding family, be sure to watch her spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding, scheduled to air on Bravo in 2012!
