Kim Zolciak may be busy with her spin-off, Don't Be Tardy, but that doesn't mean she isn't still thinking about her original show, Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Though she departed in the middle of Season 5 due to an unusually insane amount of drama with her fellow castmates, she's yet to completely shut the door on the possibility of a return.

"I can't say that I won't return to Real Housewives of Atlanta," the mother of four told Us Weekly during a recent visit to New York City with her NFL husband Kroy Biermann.  "Housewives brings its own little spice."

Though she most certainly doesn't miss all the drama that comes with filming, one of the elements she does miss is the camaraderie that comes with the show and the relationships off-camera that result from it.

Specifically, Kim talked about her relationship with NeNe Leakes, now the only original Housewife still on the show, after making peace following a bitter feud.

"We're not best friends," Kim said, acknowledging "you can't pick up where you left off" after all their back-and-forth. "We just decided to just let the past be that. The reunion was a turning point — I started this whole journey with her five years ago."

But that relationship is a warm embrace compared to the condition of Kim's relationship with former castmate Kandi Burruss.

Much of the tension there is due to the lawsuit Kandi initiated against Kim over claims that she's owed profits on Kim's single "Tardy for the Party."

"Kandi doesn't have any ground to stand on," Zolciak charges. "Her claim is so ridiculous."

But even if she never does actually return to RHoA, Kim intimated that things would still be fine and given the state of her growing family and new show. We couldn't agree more!
