Kim Zolciak Explains Why She Ditched Her Wig on Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding

Kim Zolciak is wigging out!

The reality star’s wigless episode of Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding received more than 2 million viewers and caused an Internet frenzy.

“My hairdressers said for the wedding day I should wear my real hair,” Kim told The Huffington Post. “I thought the complete opposite. But they pissed me off so much over the course of two months, I thought, you know what, I’m going to show America.”

And show us she did. After years of only appearing on television with her hairy head pet, Kim proved not only that she isn’t bald, but she also has a gorgeous head of hair.

“I definitely didn’t expect the attention it got,” she said. “I was beyond overwhelmed. It was crazy, but even I would want to know what’s under my wig.”

But don’t expect her to be going “commando” for her big day.

“I’ve always dreamed of having a larger-than-life wedding and that goes for my ring, my dress, and my hair,” she said on the show.
