Fast-friends NeNe and Marlo enjoy the drum circle.
Obviously, going on a safari is a must-do event while visiting South Africa. Unfortunately, proper attire for said safari is not so obvious for some people. Case in point: Marlo Hampton.
While all of the women were a bit overdressed for the event — ever hear of jeans and sneakers? — NeNe Leakes and Marlo took top prize in the ridiculous outfits department, not to mention the fact that they made use of hair and makeup professionals.
You'd think NeNe would win the contest with her Louis Vuitton cape, but Marlo edged her out in the end. Two words: Disco pants.
Yep, Marlo rocked some super-shiny, sequined, silver pants for her ride through nature. The offending trousers were loose fitting, except at her ankles, where they celebrated the 1980s by clinging tight. Naturally, she paired her snazzy slacks with sky-high heels. "Can someone carry me to the Jeep?" she wondered. Surely, those superhero pants have flying powers, no?
Here's the real question, though: Is there any event for which these trousers could possibly be suitable? We guess a safari's as good a time as any.
