By now you probably already know that NeNe Leakes has been tearing it up as Coach Roz Washington over on the set of Glee. In the third and final part of the juicy Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, NeNe gave us some deets on how she got the part and her prior acting experience.

As it turns out, the hilarious role of Roz landed in NeNe's lap. Show creator Ryan Murphy called our girl up and said he really liked her and wanted her for the part! NeNe mentioned that he'd considered a slew of Hollywood actresses before realizing that only one woman could pull off Roz's in-your-face style. What can we say, the man's got a good eye for talent!

Of course, NeNe's success on the show is no surprise when you consider her background. Unlike Sheree Whitfield, NeNe had actually been an actress for years before becoming a famous h'wife. In fact, that's how she got on the RHoA in the first place. While making the audition rounds in Los Angeles, NeNe was approached about becoming a Hotlanta regular.

What's more, NeNe brought both Kim Zolciak and Sheree on board. Originally, the RHoA team wasn't planning on including any Caucasian women, but when NeNe talked up Kim, they couldn't resist meeting her. Naturally, they were instantly on board.

However, things with Sheree were a bit different. The producers were on the fence because they thought Sheree was kinda boring. NeNe claimed that she "went to bat" for Sheree and that's how she got the gig.

Although NeNe admitted that Kim had expressed her gratitude many times over the years — she thanked her again at the reunion since she would have never met Kroy or had KJ without NeNe's help — she also revealed that Sheree hasn't acknowledged her help once. Which, of course, turned into a little showdown between the women, with Sheree insisting that she got the job without NeNe and that no one ever said she was boring.

Considering Sheree's nonexistent plot lines the last two seasons and her confirmed departure for Season 5, we're thinking NeNe's story rings true. Sorry, Boo!
