NeNe Leakes Supports Gay Marriage and Asks Ryan Murphy for a Movie Role
In a recent interview with The Advocate, NeNe Leakes voiced her support of gay marriage and gushed about the success of her new career in Hollywood.
As far as gay marriage is concerned, NeNe revealed that she “loved” Obama’s recent decision to come out in support of same-sex marriage.
“To me, same-sex marriage is like the new normal. I don’t give a shit. If two gay people want to get married it doesn’t bother me. If two people say they love each other and they want to be together, they should be together,” she said.
NeNe also revealed that she’s gotten very close with television writer and creator Ryan Murphy, who cast her in Glee and his new show, The New Normal.
In fact, NeNe and Ryan are so friendly that she has no problem dropping hints for him to cast her in his upcoming movie, One Hit Wonders!
“He’s already cast Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow in it so maybe he can find me a little part in there as a backup singer or something. I would love to be a part of the film. Ryan Murphy, don’t forget to put me in One Hit Wonders,” she continued.
Something tells us this is just the beginning of NeNe’s Hollywood career!
