Porsha Stewart was unceremoniously “fired” from her pageant duties by Cynthia Bailey, and even though she was hurt by the snub, she was more disappointed in Cynthia’s behavior and the fact that many needy people were hurt by her actions.

Porsha had planned to have her family’s charity, Hosea Feed the Homeless, partner with the pageant (and Cynthia agreed to donate 10 percent of the pageant’s proceeds to the charity), but when Cynthia fired Porsha from the gig, the partnership was off.

While Cynthia was annoyed that Porsha wasn’t fulfilling her role, Porsha said she did what she was asked, but Cynthia had only given her two weeks notice before the event, which proved to be problematic.

In her BravoTV.com blog, Porsha explains what was going through her head after Cynthia gave her the boot. “I was looking at what I thought was a friend and someone I put myself and my family charity out there for just to see her win, and what did I get? Nothing but a sorry excuse for why she has decided to turn her back on the thousand people who would have benefitted from receiving fresh produce and groceries as well as donations,” she explained. “What do I decide to do? Move on and let her sit where she is. I'm not going to teach someone how to care.”

And while Porsha has since excused Cynthia’s behavior, she won’t ever forget what went down. She dished, “I have decided to forgive but not forget how this made me feel and how serious it is not to involve the charity with people you can't depend on.”

We don’t think Cynthia meant to take away money and resources that could have gone to help people in need, but it was an unfortunate consequence of her decision to fire Porsha. Still, do you think Cynthia made the right call?
