It's no secret that the Real Housewives of Atlanta are in-your-face, opinionated, strong women. In other words, they are one neck roll away from becoming full-blown byotches. This week's Diva of the Week Award goes to Marlo Hampton.

We knew there would be some drama when NeNe Leakes invited Marlo Hampton along on the trip to Africa, but we had no idea just how intense chatterbox Marlo would turn out to be. For various reasons, Atlanta's newcomer definitely earned top diva props this week... and not in a good way.

The Etiquette Lessons

Considering Marlo has seven arrests under her belt, including one for assaulting another woman with a sharp object, we're pretty sure she's not the best person to be giving anyone advice on etiquette. Especially not self-acclaimed Southern Belle Phaedra Parks. Phaedra may not know to pass the pepper along with the salt, but she knows when to walk away from a confrontation like a lady.

The Housekeeping Demands

When the women checked in at their luxury apartments in Cape Town, Marlo demanded a copy of all of the housekeepers' names along with their schedules from the concierge. Clearly, she was insinuating that she doesn't trust the "lowly" help and she wants to know who's been in her room at what time should a pair of her Loubies go missing. First off, that's snooty beyond belief. Second, even if someone did steal from her, we think that hotel would be classy enough to handle the situation.

The "F" Word

Last but not least, we still can't get over Marlo's outburst during her altercation with Sheree Whitfield. Why Marlo wanted to go to this party so badly, we'll never understand, but treating Sheree's friends — or anyone, for that matter — to an anti-gay slur is just plain ignorant.

Marlo has since issued a heartfelt apology, which is much appreciated. I guess if Miss Lawrence can forgive her, we're willing to come around, too. But for now, Marlo reigns as top diva of the week.
