After all that pontificating Andy Cohen did about how Bethenny Frankel is the exception and not the rule for how to land a sure-fire Real Housewives spin-off, it looks like Kim Zolciak subscribing to her New York counterpart's formula has paid off.
An insider has confirmed that she has landed her own spin-off series, which follows her as she and fiance Kroy Biermann juggle parenthood and wedding planning.

"But instead of all those trips to a therapist that Bethenny made, expect Kim to work out her problems at the nail salon with friends," the source dished to the Huffington Post.
But why Kim, after all that talk of letting Bethenny shine in her spotlight alone — sans other H'Wives stomping in on her snarky turf? Well, spin-off-land isn't the only place Kim elbowed her way into. She wasn't supposed to be a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member, either. (Can you spot what's different about her?)

"Originally the show was to be five African American women but after Bravo met Kim, they insisted she be part of the cast," the insider said.
"Kim is a game-changer. She was the first housewife to release a single and just like Bethenny, she fell in love and got pregnant while taping the show. She’s the perfect choice for the next lady to get her own show."
Let that be a lesson to single Housewives (thanks, Bravo, for birthing that oxymoron) everywhere — if you get knocked up, engaged, and married (but only in that order), you, too, could land your own TV show. So start skipping some birth control, ladies!
