If you think Sheree Whitfield has been taking it easy since exiting The Real Housewives of Atlanta last spring, think again. Instead, she’s been burning the candle at both ends to make all of her dreams — personal and professional — come true. And as good of a run as she had on RHoA, she’s grateful she can now focus on the positive, not the made-for-TV drama.
Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Sheree during a business trip to NYC, where she filled us in on it all.
Wetpaint Entertainment: Great to see you, Sheree! What brings you to New York?
Sheree: I’m here doing meetings about my new She By Sheree jewelry line. We’re getting ready to roll it out with Kitsy Lane, who has the exclusive on the launch. It’s a small, assortment of items that we’re calling the Celebration Collection.
What else are you working on these days?
I’m going to start working on a series of fitness DVDs. Health is really important to me and I know sometimes women need that extra push, so I want to give it to them. But I’m not going to rush it. It’s something I’m passionate about so I’m going to take my time and make sure its right.
And of course, we have to ask about the house. How is Chateau Sheree coming along?
It’s coming along great. It’s a long process — it’s being built from the ground up. And right now, it takes up a lot of my time. But it’s worth it because at the end of the day, I’ll know I created this wonderful safe haven for my family.
