Tragedy struck in the summer of 2012 when Kile Glover, son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, was killed during a jet ski accident at Georgia's Lake Lanier. But this loving mother is turning her grief around to give back to the community while honoring her boy's memory.

Tameka recently held a launch party for her nonprofit organization, "Kile's World Foundation," on what would have been Kile's twelfth birthday. According to Straight From the A, the foundation "offers art-based camps with multiple workshops including general instruction in the areas of acting, singing, dance, painting, illustration, music production and digital media."

The party featured a display of Kile's artwork and home movies playing on a television screen. Neither Usher nor Kile's father, Ryan Glover, were in attendance, but all of Kile's brothers were, as well as other Atlanta elite, like Sabrina Rowe and Sherlinda Parker of Big Rich Atlanta, radio personality Frank Ski, and Quad of Married to Medicine.

Tameka hopes to further honor her son by one day opening a magnet school devoted to music and the arts.
