When Does NeNe Leakes’s Sitcom, The New Normal, Premiere?

A year ago, NeNe Leakes was best known as the quick-witted member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but since landing a guest spot on Glee earlier this year, Hollywood’s demand for our gal has skyrocketed.
Case in point, NeNe landed another role (also as part of a Ryan Murphy show) on the upcoming sitcom, The New Normal, which is scheduled to premiere on NBC on September 11 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Like Glee’s Coach Roz, NeNe’s Normal character Rocky is the queen of sass and snark. As an assistant to one of the main gay characters hoping to have a child with his partner, Rocky exists for comic relief and snarky remarks.
