Which Real Housewife of Atlanta Is Featured in Vogue Magazine?
With one model and one former Miss USA winner currently part of the cast of Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it should come as no surprise that one of our Georgia gals is featured in the October 2012 issue of Vogue magazine.
However, the lucky Atlanta fashionista in question is not Cynthia Bailey or Kenya Moore; It’s NeNe Leakes!
NeNe and her female co-stars in the Ryan Murphy comedy, The New Normal — Georgia King, Bebe Wood, and Ellen Barkin — all appear in a spread in the fashion bible’s October issue for an article about the somewhat controversial new show about a gay couple’s quest to have a child.
NeNe was super psyched about her turn in the famed mag, tweeting, “Check me out n the October issue of Vogue wit my "New Normal" cast! That's my girl @EllenBarkin did I say Vogue?”
NeNe’s appearance in Vogue is especially surprising considering Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour’s well known disdain for reality stars. Wintour famously refused to invite reality queen Kim Kardashian to the Met Ball last year, but it looks like NeNe has her approval!
